Rec Team & USAGymnastics Xcel are open to gymnasts in grades 2 and up and is a recreational program. This team will help the gymnast learn new skills and develop routines that will enable them to compete in USAGymnastics Xcel meets. The gymnast will also develop the strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance necessary to be a recreational competitive gymnast. The USAGymnastics Xcel team competes in 4-6 meets per year.

  • Is non competitive
  • Year round program
  • Allow opportunity to complete USA Gymnastics Testing (USAG Girls) Levels 1-2
  • Be introduced to USA Gymnastics Level 3 and 4 skills and routines
  • Prepare the gymnast for Recreational Team B (Rec B)

  • Year round program

  • To develop skill levels appropriate for the individual
  • Foster development by setting realistic goals, achievable through challenging
  • Learn optional skills in accordance with physical and emotional characteristics
  • Progress towards a higher optional level
